Blanketing the fields with golden blooms and framed by the iconic slopes of Mayon, it’s a picture-perfect destination that has locals and visitors alike falling in love.

The sunflower farm is currently owned by engineer Richard Dino. According to Dino’s son, the idea of creating a sunflower maze first came from his mother. She wanted to provide a source of livelihood for local workers who were temporarily out of work. Turning this vision into reality, the farm became both a beautiful landscape and a community-supporting initiative — proving that even the simplest ideas can blossom into something remarkable.

The sunflower farm in Albay is officially open for visitors. Beyond admiring the flowers, guests are welcome to pick fresh vegetables like eggplant and ampalaya, paying for each vegetable chosen.
For local visitors, the farm is easily accessible by road. Seasonal travel advice still applies, so check local guidelines for the best visiting times and farm hours before planning your trip.
Did you know that Albay is home to several Instagram-worthy sunflower fields? Camalig, in particular, offers spectacular views of Mt. Mayon along with its sunflower landscapes. Another popular spot is Bee Farm at Albay Farmers Bounty Village, also in Camalig.
