Drop everything you’re doing! Supermodel Naomi Campbell just showed the world how to ride on a plane — and we’ve taken down notes!
If you don’t know by now, legendary supermodel Naomi Campbell has a Youtube channel called Being Naomi where she shares her life, work, and non-profit initiatives to her fans. With her ultra-successful career and the busy schedule that she has, it was only a matter of time until she shared something particularly about travel. In her latest video, we see how Naomi can be both a down-to-earth and picky traveller at the same time.
Before boarding the plane, Naomi walks us through her last-minute shopping in the airport’s duty-free section where she buys *drum-roll please* a pack of French chocolates and two packs of sour gummy worms.
“I really shouldn’t… You know what? I’m getting it. I’m getting this and I don’t care!” she says. Looks like even supermodels cheat on their diet! We feel you Naomi, it’s so hard to resist the temptation of sugar during long-haul flights!

If you’ve got quick and sharp eyes, you might even catch her current skincare and makeup products as she points them out while walking around the store. You’ve got to look closely though! The camera shifts swiftly to and fro.
Picky travellers, take note, because here comes the best and my favourite part!
Travel guru Naomi (yup, we’re officially dubbing her as a travel guru) has a sanitation routine before taking her seat on the plane. And it’s a spotless routine, quite literally, that we have never seen before. First things first. She packs two essentials in her carry-on: gloves and Dettol wipes.

Yes, gloves. Gloves to wear while she’s wiping her entire seat — including armrest, remote, private TV, tray, practically everything she might touch during the flight — with her trusty wet wipes. Come on picky travellers, why haven’t we thought of this before? If we really wanted to keep the germs at bay, we should have been bringing gloves to the plane from the very beginning. But thankfully, Naomi was one runway ahead and showed us how it should be done.

Thank you, supermodel Naomi Campbell, for this one of a kind travel tip. We will never forget it. Now… where can we get Dettol wipes?
