The Mountain House in Antipolo Lets You Relish in Nature

Booking a cabin to beat cabin fever may sound like an incredibly dumb idea, but trust us, it works like magic — especially if you’re booking a cabin in the middle of nowhere.

With travel protocols being ever-changing, most of us would rather relax somewhere near enough with minimal requirements, but also far enough to enable us to believe that we’re on an actual vacation. So now, we’re eyeing The Mountain House, a breathtaking home rental in Antipolo, Rizal.

A middle-of-nowhere oasis

For those of us struggling with corona blues, a good staycation near nature feels like a warm hug. (Not sure what that feels like anymore? Then that’s more reason for you to go on a vacation.)

Tucked in the lush forests along the Sierra Madre, The Mountain House offers its guests a generous taste of nature. One of its most remarkable features is its outdoor kitchen — engulfed by trees and wood, furnished with a stove and a grilling station and tables and lounge chairs — where you can cook and dine all-you-can al fresco.

As for lodging, The Mountain House provides three options:

Danielle Uy

If Disney were creative enough to let Mulan and Melody procreate, Danielle would be that child. From an early age, she has dreamt of becoming a purposeful revolutionary... and an unruly mermaid. While Danielle hasn't held a sword in her lifetime, she feels powerful enough with her byline. Her creative energy is fueled by many things: the quiet right before the rest of the world wakes up, the orange sky as the sun rises during an uncrowded morning surf, the beautiful bitter taste of black coffee, and the threatening reminder of a pending deadline.
