The Touchnote App Lets You Send Postcards Straight From Your Phone

One of my favourite parts of travelling was sending postcards to my loved ones from different destinations. At the same time, I also loved receiving them. But when travel took a hiatus, we obviously weren’t able to do this as much. Still, there’s something so special about receiving good old snail mail in this day and age — which is why I was so happy to discover TouchNote, a mobile app that lets you send postcards from anywhere in the world.

I’ve had the hardest time finding a way to conveniently send postcards from Metro Manila; so, I really love how you can get everything done with a single app, from designing your postcard to sending it out!

How to send postcards with TouchNote

The TouchNote app is available on both the App Store and Google Play Store. While the app itself is free, you’ll need to create an account and purchase credits after downloading. You can choose from credit packs that let you send anywhere from a minimum of five postcards up to 90. Prices start at $9.95 (₱500.12) for a five-credit pack.

Once you’ve purchased your credits, you’re ready to create your postcards! You can pick from a wide range of designs or create your own. To personalise your postcard, you can upload an existing photo of your choice.

After settling on the design, all you have to do is type in your message and enter the recipient’s details. TouchNote will then take care of sending it for you!

Here’s a cool tip: If you love scribbling, illustrating, or creating your own designs, you can save them as .jpg or .png files and upload them on TouchNote!

I especially love the app because it lets me send personalised cards to my loved ones — and even myself. I managed to send one to myself and to friends both in Metro Manila and San Francisco, and I was very happy with the quality. Plus points for TouchNote: If you don’t receive the postcard within their ETA, they’ll send it again for free!
