Imagine setting out on a journey with one goal in mind, to visit every country in the world. For Glen Antolin Dalisay, a 45-year-old Filipino-American nurse from Orlando, Florida, this dream became reality. After more than a decade of careful planning, dedication, and countless adventures, he became the first Filipino male to visit all 193 United Nations member countries. His final United Nations member country, Cape Verde, marked the completion of a lifelong mission on 14 September 2025.

Glen’s achievement has been officially verified by NomadMania, the global organisation that tracks the world’s most travelled explorers, and confirmed by Filipino World Travelers (FWT), an international community that honours Filipinos reaching significant travel milestones. By achieving this, he joins an elite group of Filipino travellers, including Odette Ricasa, Luisa Yu, and Kach Umandap, who were recently recognised at Malacañang Palace for their contributions to global travel.

Glen’s journey was filled with extraordinary adventures and challenges. From bungee-jumping at Victoria Falls, skydiving in Namibia, and running the Damascus Marathon to swimming with humpback whales in Tonga and cage diving with great white sharks in South Africa, every experience pushed his limits. He even spent eight months overlanding through West Africa, camping nightly in a tent, proving his endurance and passion for authentic experiences.
Each country brought unique experiences, from celebrating local festivals in remote villages to connecting with locals who shared their stories. These encounters turned travel into a life-changing journey, filled with cultural insight, personal growth, and unforgettable memories.

Glen credits his father for igniting his love of travel. A globe and travel journal given during childhood became the foundation of a lifelong mission. His story demonstrates the Filipino spirit of curiosity, resilience, and pride, inspiring a new generation of global Pinoys to explore the world.
Glen’s achievements also extend beyond travel. He holds a Bachelor’s in Criminology, a Master’s in Nursing Informatics, and a PhD in Nursing Education, embodying both intellect and adventure. For Glen, visiting every country is about more than passport stamps — it is about experiencing cultures, learning from people, and pushing the boundaries of what Filipinos can achieve globally.
For anyone dreaming of following in his footsteps, Glen Dalisay’s story is both inspiration and a reality check. Ambitious travel goals are achievable with dedication, curiosity, and persistence. His journey proves that the world is open to those willing to explore it.
