Joseph Gordon-Levitt Asks Pinoys to Share Philippine Photos for His Online Series

No more than a week ago, Joseph Gordon-Levitt asked Filipinos to write a caption for a photo taken in Sorsogon for his Passport Poems series. Today, he calls on us again, this time to share a Philippine photo for his Scenes From A Fictional Film series.

“Find a photo that you’ve taken somewhere in the Philippines. Any photo works, as long as it’s one you’re proud of,” the 39-year-old actor said in his new Facebook post. Once you’ve found a fitting photo, you can post it on this page on HITRECORD, Gordon-Levitt’s collaborative community for artists and other creatives.

The Scenes From A Fictional Film series aims to combine photographs with short bits of writing “to create scenes from films that don’t really exist!” the series’ description read. You can find tips and other instructions on how to participate here.

In less than eight hours, there have already been over 1,500 photos shared on the said page. Several of them showed top natural attractions in the Philippines, including Dingalan in Aurora, Enchanted River in Surigao del Sur, and Baler in Aurora.
