Representatives from Manila City accepted the prestigious award at the famous Burj Al Arab in Dubai, United Arab Emirates last Friday, 1 Dec.
As Filipinos, we know better than anyone how captivating the city of Manila can be. And now the world knows it, too! From a vibrant culinary scene to awe-inspiring historical sites, Manila offers a kaleidoscope of rich experiences that can resonate with travelers from all corners of the globe. It’s a different (but no less exciting) side to the white beaches and secluded islands that most visitors associate with the Philippines, don’t you think?

Of course, Manila isn’t the only win of Team Philippines. In fact, the country took home four additional accolades! The Philippines was also named as the World’s Leading Dive Destination and World’s Leading Beach Destination, both of which the country also won in 2022. To add to that, Amanpulo and City of Dreams Manila were celebrated as the World’s Leading Dive Resort and World’s Leading Fully Integrated Resort, respectively.
